Seven more corona positive patients died in Himachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours. These include 53 and 70-year-old woman from district Shimla, 60 and 75-year-old man from district Una, 72-year-old woman from district Kangra, 52-year-old man from district Mandi and 75-year-old woman from district Hamirpur. At the same time, 1403 new corona positive patients have been registered in the state. Samples of 10437 people have been taken in the state on Tuesday. The number of corona active cases in the state has come down to 9672. The death toll has reached 3990. While 1005 people have also been cured. 65 patients of Corona admitted in IGMC The number of corona virus positive patients in IGMC is increasing continuously. As of late Tuesday evening, 65 patients were admitted in the hospital. After the sudden increase in the cases, the concern of the hospital management has increased. IGMC administrative officer Dr. Rahul Gupta said that 115 beds have been arranged in the isolation ward for corona patients in the hospital. The management also says that if the number of Kovid patients increases, then even the medicine ward can be evacuated. Since there is a system of oxygen here, then this facility can be started. The second dose of corona vaccine was administered to adolescents aged 15 to 18 years in Shimla district on Tuesday. A large number of school children across the district got vaccinated for the second dose after 28 days. Till late evening, a total of 5044 children had applied this dose in the entire district. However, in the meantime 1024 also administered the first dose. The Health Department team had reached the schools of the city in the morning itself. In the Senior Secondary School Khalini, the hands of the first schools were sanitized. After this, the female personnel posted in the campus did thermal screening of the children. After this the identity card was seen and after that vaccination was done. Apart from this, chairs were installed in the premises for sitting. The Health Department has set a target to vaccinate 10274 children across the city by February 10.
