Health and Family Welfare and AYUSH Minister Dr. Rajeev Saizal said that the state government is making sure that girls get equal opportunities in all fields through women empowerment. Dr. Saijal was presiding over the Jan Manch organized at Parwanoo in Kasauli assembly constituency of Solan district today. Dr. Saijal said that equal rights have been given to boys and girls in the Sanatan Indian culture. He said that the present State Government is helping the eligible girls and paving the way for their future through various schemes, while also making people aware in this direction. He urged the people not to discriminate between boys and girls and provide opportunities to girls to advance in all fields. On this occasion, he also provided FD of Rs 12000-12000 to the parents of girl child born in BPL families under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana. He gave this FD to Divya and Drishti of Parwanoo, Chahat of village Karol Nayagram and Gunita of village Madhyaana. Under Shagun Yojana, he provided assistance to Om Prakash of village Kyarwa, Mohan Dutt of village Kainthi, Tara Dutt of village Shamli, Tara Dutt of village Oda Nichra and K Dharamsingh of village Sujji. Dr. Saijal also planted a sapling of Behde on this occasion. He visited the exhibition organized by the departments of AYUSH, Social Justice and Empowerment, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Horticulture and Labor and Employment Department and showed keen interest in the displayed items. Dr. On this occasion, Saijal also signed the signature board established under the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme. State Women’s Commission Chairperson Dr. Daisy Thakur, Zilla Parishad Solan President Ramesh Thakur, APMC Solan President Sanjeev Kashyap, Nagar Parishad Parwanoo President Nisha Sharma, BJP and other officials of BJYM, representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions, Deputy Commissioner Solan Krutika Kulhari, Superintendent of Police Solan Virendra Sharma, Additional Superintendent of Police Solan Ashok Verma, Commander Home Defense Dr. Shiv Kumar Sharma, Sub Divisional Officer Kasauli Dr. Sanjeev Dhiman, Sub Divisional Officer Solan Ajay Yadav, officers and employees of various departments and other dignitaries were also present.
