Vigilance will submit the final investigation report of Junior Office Assistant (JOA) IT paper leak to the state government this week. So far eight people have been arrested in this case. Four of these people have got bail from the court. Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission’s main accused Senior Assistant Uma Azad, both her sons and broker Sanjeev are in judicial custody for a month. Now even a big officer of the commission can be hit. Vigilance has sought permission from the government to take action against this officer. Now the state government has to take a decision on this.
It is noteworthy that the paper of the written examination of post code 965 JOA IT recruitment to be held on December 25, 2022 was leaked two days ago. The woman who is accused of leaking the paper, has been working for a long time as a senior assistant in the confidential branch of the commission. On the complaint of a candidate, Vigilance arrested eight people including the woman and her sons and registered a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The connivance of the female employee and the broker has come to the fore in the case. It is alleged that the tout demanded Rs 2.5 lakh from a candidate in exchange for the question paper. The pimp had taken the candidate to the house of the female employee to meet her. ADG Vigilance Satwant Atwal said that the final investigation report has to be sent to the government within two to three days.
