The famous Johadji Sahib fair, located in the princely state of Patta Mahlog under Kasauli sub-division of Solan, is starting from April 2. Celebrated for nearly four centuries, this ancient historical fair is a symbol of Hindu-Sikh unity. In this fair, which lasts for two weeks, devotees from many states including Himachal, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh reach the gurudwara to visit the Sheesh Navane. Direct bus service of Transport Corporation is available from Nalagarh for the devotees. Special buses are also engaged during the fair from Nalagarh, Ropar, Chandigarh and Kalka.The fair is held first for the country accompaniment and then for the hill accompaniment.
