In a meeting of the State Cabinet held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, it was decided to recommend to the Governor to hold the budget session of Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha from February 23, 2022 to March 15, 2022. It was also decided to open gyms and clubs in the meeting. All social gatherings will be allowed in the open with a maximum of 500 people and in indoor spaces with 250 people or 50 percent capacity, with Kovid standards and Kovid compliant behavior. Night curfew will continue as before from 10 pm to 6 am and shops will open and close normally. The organization of langar will remain suspended till further orders. The cabinet also gave its approval to the Himachal Pradesh Integrated Drug Prevention Policy with the aim of ending the menace of drugs in the state. The objective of this policy is to prevent the serious problem of drug smuggling, drug abuse, cultivation, production and consumption of drugs in the state. Apart from this, the policy also aims to strengthen the intergovernmental and inter-agency coordination under a multi-level cooperation mechanism by establishing seizure statistics, joint drug law enforcement operations and joint inquiry centres. The cabinet approved successful bidders on the basis of open tender. L-1 M/s Krishna Diagnostic Pvt Ltd, Pune is also permitted to provide diagnostic services up to Community Health Center level for 236 tests including 53 free tests as per HUB and Spoke model on offer of 40.50 per cent discount on IGMC-RKS/CGHS rates.
