There has been a tussle between the state’s non-teacher union Directorate of Education unit and the Joint Employees Front. The non-teaching union has raised questions on the formation of the United Employees Front and termed it as unconstitutional. The union has told the employees not to fall under any illusions.
Himachal Pradesh Non-Teachers Union Directorate of Education Unit General Secretary Devendra Chauhan said that NGO Federation has been formed in the state in a constitutional manner, whose president Ashwani Thakur is continuously raising the demands of the employees. In such a situation, there is no need for a united front of the employees. He said that the employees should not be misled by anyone. The United Employees Front is working to extort money. Some people are in the process of polishing their leadership, they have nothing to do with the employees.At the same time, he said that the Chief Minister has solved the problems of the employees. The contract was reduced from 3 years to 2 years. Announced equal DA to 31 percent employees and officers. The interests of the employees have been taken care of by giving the 6th Pay Commission. The problems of those who did not benefit from this are being heard by the government.Devendra Chauhan said that the rider problem is a big problem and the employees are constantly demanding to remove it. No government has made any policy for outsourcing employees till now. He has urged the government to make a concrete policy for them at the earliest.
