A female tourist died while taking a selfie. This painful accident occurred on Friday at Sucide Point near Roghi Panchayat of Kinnaur district. The police have taken the body in possession and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem. Further investigation has started.
According to the police, Rahul Podhar, a resident of Kolkata, had come to visit Kinnaur district along with his family. His wife Jayita Das was also with him. While taking a selfie of Jayita Das, her foot slipped and she fell into a deep gorge. this caused her death. Police and local people reached the spot and after hard efforts pulled the body from the ditch. Kinnaur Superintendent of Police Ashok Ratan has registered a case and started investigation.
