The latest case has come to light from Paonta Sahib in Sirmaur district. Here school students have died due to drowning in the Tons river. While one student was saved from drowning. The accident took place in the Tons river near Khodari Majri on the border of Himachal and Uttarakhand. The drowning students are residents of Uttarakhand.
According to the information received, three students of Vikas Nagar in Khodari Majri went to bathe in the river after studying tuition. All three students drowned in the river while taking a bath. Hearing the shouting, local people reached the spot and rescued the drowning students. But until the students were evicted. By then two students had died due to drowning. While the third one was saved. The information about the accident was also given to the police and administration. The deceased students have been identified as Hardik and Arun resident of Vikasnagar.
Both the students are said to be 17 years old and were the students of the plus one. The police have seized the bodies of both the students. The bodies will be handed over to the relatives after the post-mortem. On the other hand, Additional Superintendent of Police Babita Rana has confirmed the death of two students in the accident. He told that the third youth has been rescued. Let us tell you that even before drowning in the Tons river, many cases have come to the fore. Due to the summer season, everyone gets attracted to see the river drains, in such a situation accidents happen.
