The Himachal Pradesh High Court has stayed the notification of transfer of SDM Rohru after just one month. The High Court has issued notices to the Chief Secretary of the Government and the SDM Rajgarh, who has been made the respondent personally. The next hearing on the matter will be on July 11. The order was passed during the preliminary hearing of the petition filed by SDM Rohru Sunny Sharma in a division bench of Justice Amjad A Saeed and Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan. As per the facts given in the petition, only one month after the petitioner, transfer orders were passed from Rohru to Rajgarh.
The petitioner has alleged in the petition that his transfer notification has been made on the recommendation of the President of Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank and BJP leader Shashi Bala. Altogether 9 transfer orders have been passed in eight years of service. In this, most of the transfer orders have been made due to political interference. The court, prima facie, agreeing with the arguments of the petitioner, has summoned the reply of the petition from the government while staying the transfer notification.
