JBT trainees are furious in the state for declaring B.Ed as eligible for JBT posts. JBT trainees said that those who have B.Ed should not get the benefit of JBT. If this happens then JBT will not be able to get the benefit of their training on time. The trainees have demanded from the Chief Minister that the decision should be reconsidered and the rights of JBT should not be violated. If this happens then JBT trainees will be bound to take some tough decision in the coming time. JBT Union Hamirpur President Ashwin Soni said that there is a provision of posts for JBT in other states including Uttarakhand and B.Ed has not been included in it. Raman Patial, a candidate who has done JBT, says that Himachal is the first state where The decision has been given in favor of B.Ed. However, there is no interference of IMC on the posts of JBT in Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan. He said that the number of trade JBTs and training JBTs in Himachal is much more than the posts. In such a situation, giving the benefit of JBT to those who commit suicide is playing with the rights of those who do JBT. He said that the state government had also done review petition in favor of SMC under such circumstances. Keeping in mind the rights of JBT, the state government should take such a decision. JBT trainees say that first one has to qualify for commission for admission and then one has to struggle for the job. In such a situation, if B.Ed is made entitled to the posts of JBT, then it is very difficult for them. He has demanded from the government that keeping the interests of JBTs in mind, a decision should be taken in their favor. It is worth noting that about 2000 trainees are getting training in 9 JBT colleges of Hamirpur. Talking about the same trained and apprentices, then their figure is about 40000 in the state. In such a situation, it is a sheer injustice to these 40 thousand families to make IMC eligible on the benefit of JBT.
