Instructions have been issued to replace all wooden poles in Himachal Pradesh before March 31. Energy Minister Sukhram Choudhary on Monday took a jibe at the officials in the state secretariat as the power poles in many areas were not replaced yet. The Energy Minister said that complaints should not reach him about this and the officers should be instructed to remove these wooden poles at their level. The city will have to endure irregular water supply at least for the next couple of days due to “low voltage at pumping stations”. Hearing on computer teacher recruitment case in Himachal Pradesh High Court has been postponed. The hearing has been adjourned for December 28. Una police has forwarded details of assets of 20 accused in cases of illegal mining in the district to Enforcement Directorate (ED) for further action. The accused were owners of tippers, JCB machines and tractor trollies that were used in illegal mining in Swan river of Una district.
