Himachal Pradesh government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle by issuing transfer and posting orders for officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HAS). The reshuffle involves changes in important positions from the secretariat to district level.
Amarjit Singh has been transferred from Deputy Commissioner Hamirpur and appointed as Secretary Cooperation. C Paulrasu has been relieved from the charge of this post. Amarjit Singh was recently promoted to the post of secretary. Gandharv Rathore has been removed from Special Secretary Personnel and appointed as Deputy Commissioner Hamirpur.
Shainamol A, an IAS officer of 2007 batch, has been given additional charge of Shimla Divisional Commissioner along with Secretary (Administrative Reforms, Training, FA and RPG). She is already handling additional responsibility of Secretary (AYUSH). Vinod Kumar has been removed from Kangra Divisional Commissioner and appointed as Secretary (Technical Education). He will continue to hold additional charge of Kangra Divisional Commissioner.
Dalip Kumar Negi, who was awaiting posting, has been made Special Secretary (State Tax and Excise). He has also been given additional charge of Special Secretary (Industries and Home). Divyanshu Singal has been appointed Managing Director, Himachal Pradesh State Handloom and Handicrafts Corporation. He will continue to hold additional charge of MD of Medical Services Corporation.
Netra Meti has been appointed Municipal Corporation Commissioner Palampur from SDM Palampur. She will also continue additional charge of SDM. Sachin Sharma has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Shimla from SDM Amb.
Transfer orders of Sudesh Kumar Mokhta, who was promoted to the post of secretary, will be issued separately.
Making changes in the state administrative service, Rajeev Kumar, Additional Principal Private Secretary to the Chief Minister and Director Information and Public Relations Department, has been given additional charge of Special Secretary (Personnel) along with responsibilities of several important departments.
Kulbir Singh Rana has been appointed Deputy Commissioner (Relief and Rehabilitation) Talwara (Raja Ka Talab). Sanjeet Sharma has been made SDM Thunag (Mandi), while Ramesh Kumar has been directed to report to the Personnel Department. Sumedh Sharma has been appointed Joint Director, Health Services. Ganesh Thakur has been given the responsibility of Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Palampur.
