While giving information on covid 19 during the budget session, Health Minister Dr. Rajiv Sehjal informed in the Vidhan Sabha that 2.25 lakh cases of covid-19 were reported from Corona of last two years till November 15, 2021. During this, 3831 people died. He apprised the House that during the second wave of Corona during May 2021, 1645 people died, which is the highest during the Corona period. Congress MLA Rohit Thakur raised the issue during the Question Hour as to how many frontline workers died during the Corona period. Financial assistance has been provided to every person who died of corona.
