One liter pack of refined oil, which was earlier priced at Rs 130, is now selling for Rs 150 after the new rates. At the same time, one kg pack of vegetable ghee which is being sold for Rs 140 to 170. It is being told that palm oil used in refined and ghee comes from Indonesia and Malaysia, while sunflower oil comes from Ukraine. Inflation hit the poor and middle class. The shopkeepers said that the price has increased and food items are being sold at the new price.
