Transfer of doctors in IGMC stalled the treatment of patients, problem in OPD too!If you are coming for treatment in Himachal’s largest hospital IGMC for the coming few days, then take complete information about the doctors. The Health Department has transferred 14 doctors to the Medical College, Chamba. It includes four doctors surgery, four doctors from medicine to ENT and doctors of anesthesia department. This is likely to have an impact not only on the OPD but also on the operation in the hospital. Even though their transfers have been done by the government saying stop gap arrangement, but for some time people will have to bear the brunt of it.Sources reveal that the MCI team is visiting Chamba Medical College in the coming times. For this tour, a large number of doctors have been transferred from Shimla and Tanda. Due to this the patients are facing difficulties. There are more than 3000 OPDs in the hospital daily. People from all over the district come for treatment. Although it is being claimed by the hospital administration that the patients do not face any problems, the hospital has made full preparations for this. The services of doctors will be taken for additional time.
Departments which have more OPD, doctors instead of the same department
There are hundreds of OPDs in IGMC daily in medicine and surgery. People go to the hospital for the operation. Four doctors have changed from both these departments. In these two departments in the hospital, maximum crowd is seen daily. People coming for treatment in these two departments may have to face some problems. IGMC Principal Dr. Surendra Sharma said that doctors have been transferred from the hospital. Due to this, more burden has fallen on the hospital. The hospital administration has made full preparations so that the patients do not face any problem.
