Preparations have intensified for the program to be organized in the capital Shimla on May 31 to mark the completion of eight years of the Modi government at the Centre. According to the schedule so far, PM Narendra Modi will reach the Ridge Ground amidst tight security by road from Annadel Ground. The security squad will conduct rehearsals a day before their arrival. PM Modi will reach here at 10:30 and will stay here for about one and a half hours. Modi will not have lunch in Shimla. PM Modi will inform the about the work done during the tenure of eight years of the Central Government from the Ridge Ground.
Before this, only Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur will address from the stage for about five minutes. Apart from these, no minister will be allowed to speak from the stage. For security, the road from CTO Chowk to Ridge Maidan will be divided into two parts. In one part, the vehicles of PM Modi’s convoy will run and the other part will be left for the pedestrians. There will be police deployment on every approach road leading to Mall Road and Ridge Maidan, which will allow people to reach the venue only after checking with metal detectors.
There will be no dialogue with the workers PM Modi will not have any dialogue with the workers. It is being told that nothing related to Himachal assembly elections will be done by Modi in this program. This is the reason why no minister or senior BJP leader is being given a chance to speak from the stage.
