Three pulses (Malka, Mash, Dal Chana), two liters of oil (mustard and refined), salt, 500 grams of sugar per person are included on subsidy from the state government. Flour and rice are provided by the central government on subsidy. Food, Civil and Consumer Affairs Secretary C Palrasu said that orders have been given to issue QR codes to the depots.
The arrangement will continue on cash as well, in the depots, ration will continue to be available on cash as before. It may be closed in the future.
