One hundred students have been selected for the Swarna Jayanti Middle Scholarship in Himachal Pradesh. SCERT Solan has declared district-wise scholarship examination results and uploaded the information on its website. Now the bank accounts and other documents of selected students are being collected, which will be sent to the directorate soon.
Selected students of class sixth will receive Rs 4,000 per month scholarship, class seventh students will get Rs 5,000 and class eighth students will receive Rs 6,000 per month. The Swarna Jayanti Middle Merit Examination is conducted every year in two phases across the state. The results of the previous academic session have been declared.
Principal SCERT Solan Dr Ritu Sharma Soni said that district-wise examination results have been uploaded on the site. Now bank accounts and other documents of children are being collected, which will be sent to the directorate. After completion of formalities, scholarship will start from the new session.
For this session, the first phase of Swarna Jayanti Middle Merit Examination will be held on April 5 at 324 examination centers. Class fifth students can apply online to appear in the examination.
