Earthquake tremors were felt in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh at around 12.01 pm on Friday. The National Center for Seismology has confirmed the earthquake. According to the National Center for Seismology, the magnitude of the earthquake was 3.4 on the Richter scale. At the same time, tremors of earthquake were felt in Jalore, Rajasthan at around 2.26 pm on Friday. According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake measured 4.6 on the Richter scale. Earlier on November 16 (Tuesday), tremors of 4.1 magnitude were felt along the Rajasthan border with Gujarat’s Banaskantha district. The earthquake was confirmed by the Gandhinagar-based Seismological Research Institute (ISR). The epicenter of the earthquake was near Sumerpur in Pali district of Rajasthan at a depth of 10 km. The earthquake occurred at around 7.25 pm.
