The government has taken a positive initiative on the controversy over JBT recruitment in the state. Himachal Pradesh Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur said that in the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, the issue of JBT recruitment was discussed in detail. Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur said that every effort would be made to get the rights of JBT trainees. He said that the government believes that the JBT-D.L.Ed trainees are capable of teaching the students of class I to V. He said that along with going to the Supreme Court, a review petition will also be filed in the State High Court on behalf of the Education Department.Govind Singh Thakur said that the Rajasthan High Court has dismissed the petition to make B.Ed degree holders eligible. He said that the decision in favor of JBT trainees from Jodhpur High Court of Rajasthan would be made the basis of SLP and review petition. The Education Minister said that in the cabinet meeting by CM Jai Ram Thakur, all the ministers have been asked to sit in the party office Deepakmal so that their duties can be done and the problems and demands can also be removed.
