Another corona positive patient died in Himachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours. A 67-year-old infected person succumbed to his injuries in Shimla district. At the same time, the report of 109 people has come corona positive. The death toll from the state epidemic has reached 3836. On Monday, samples of 5005 people were taken for the investigation of corona in the state. The state government has instructed the CMO to increase the sample for the Omicron variant. Every day 20 to 25 samples of positive people have been asked to be sent to Delhi for investigation. The Health Department has formed teams in the districts regarding the new variant. Additional staff has been deployed in the primary health centers and community health centres. On the other hand, on Monday, 54 coronas including 43 students and one teacher of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Pandoh have been found infected. This figure is the highest in the last four months. In JNV, 35 students have been found infected in the past. All the students have been isolated. It has been told that during the CBSE’s Term One examinations, students from outside arrived here, due to which Corona has spread in the school. So far 79 students have come positive in JNV. The school has now been made a mini containment zone. CMO Dr. Devendra Sharma has confirmed this. He told that 325 samples were taken in the school, out of which 44 students have been found infected.
