Commuters arriving in Shimla from Volvo will get free travel facility in local buses. If you see Volvo’s ticket for the same day, you will not have to pay the fare in local buses. The corporation has made this plan to popularize the luxury bus service. HRTC has intensified the promotion of premium luxury segment in order to provide better service to the passengers and increase its revenue. The biggest source of income of the corporation is Volvo Buses. Attractive offers are being issued for the local people and tourists to give preference to travel in Volvo.
After buying five new Volvos for 6 crores, preparations are being made to provide free travel facility to the passengers on local routes. On the day the passenger reaches Shimla by Volvo, he will be able to travel free on local routes on Volvo ticket
