From April 1st in Himachal Pradesh, the condition of 50 per cent capacity in function venues will be abolished. The Central Government has decided to lift the restrictions of the Disaster Management Act from March 31. Letters have been issued to the Chief Secretaries of all the states in this regard. As soon as the ban ends in Himachal, after two years, prayer meetings and sports activities will be started in schools in Himachal. However, wearing a face mask will still be mandatory. Conditions are imposed on the presence of people in sports, educational, entertainment, cultural, political activities in the state.
For these activities, a maximum of 100 people have been allowed indoors with 50 percent capacity and 50 percent of the outdoor capacity and maximum 300 people have been allowed to gather. These restrictions imposed in the state will also end due to the Central Government removes the restrictions of the Disaster Management Act. State officials have started making arrangements on the letter received from the central government. Apart from this, the Education Department has prepared a proposal and sent it to the government to start prayer meetings in schools.
