The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced the result of the written examination conducted on 15 June for the recruitment of police constables. A total of 1,964 candidates have qualified for the next stage out of thousands who appeared for the exam. The recruitment is being conducted for 1,088 posts across the state, which include 380 posts for women and 708 posts for men.
Following the result, the commission will now begin the process of document verification. Candidates who have qualified will be required to present their original documents including their 10th and 12th marksheets, bonafide Himachali certificate, reservation certificates (if applicable), and a printout of the online application form.
The commission has clarified that this list is only a provisional selection. Final appointments will be made only after verification of all documents and the fulfillment of eligibility conditions. If any discrepancy is found during verification, the candidature of the concerned candidate will be cancelled.

The document verification schedule will be released soon, and candidates are advised to regularly check the official website of the commission for updates.
