The process of filling 548 posts of Assistant Professor in degree colleges of Himachal Pradesh has started. A notification in this regard has been issued by the Public Service Commission on Thursday late evening. Online applications have been invited to join the recruitment of these posts till 26 May. 35 in Mathematics, 41 in Hindi, 47 in Political Science, 11 in Sociology, 67 in Commerce, 39 in Economics, eight in Public Administration, 17 in Sanskrit, 24 in Music, 37 in Chemistry, 16 in Music Vocal, 22 in Zoology Assistant Professors will be recruited for 12 posts in Geography, 40 posts in Physics.
Apart from this, 24 in Botany, seven in Physical Education, three in Education, 50 in English, 37 in History, five in Philosophy, five in Psychology, three in Tour and Travel and one in Commercial Art, Home Science, Journalism and Mass Communication one position will be filled. Public Service Commission Secretary DK Ratan told that the link will open on the website of Public Service Commission to apply on Friday.
