Himachal Pradesh government has announced a free coaching initiative for youth preparing for police recruitment in the state, offering structured guidance for both the written examination and the physical efficiency test.
The programme is primarily aimed at candidates from economically weaker backgrounds who cannot afford private coaching institutes. The government has stated that ensuring equal opportunity for rural and remote-area youth is a key objective of the initiative, with the belief that quality preparation should not be contingent on financial capacity.
Training under the programme will be conducted by subject experts and experienced instructors, covering examination pattern, general knowledge, reasoning, language skills, and physical fitness. The coaching is designed to give aspirants a systematic and effective preparation strategy across all components of the recruitment process.
The state government has reiterated that expanding employment opportunities for youth remains one of its foremost priorities, and that training programmes of this nature are being organised to strengthen preparation for various competitive examinations across departments.
