Cricket enthusiasts will be able to purchase offline tickets for the T20 match scheduled at the Dharamsala International Cricket Stadium on December 14 India vs South Africa, with the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) setting up a counter from December 11.

The offline ticket counter will be set up at the stadium gate from Thursday, December 11, with sales beginning at 10:00 AM. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, with early arrivals having a better chance of securing cheaper tickets.

Ticket prices and availability

Online ticket sales for the match are already underway, with prices ranging from Rs 1,500 for the cheapest tickets to Rs 20,000 for premium seats. According to sources, the cheaper category tickets have already been sold out online, making the offline counter crucial for fans hoping to secure affordable tickets.

“Those who arrive first will get the cheaper tickets. The offline counter will follow a first-come, first-served policy,” an HPCA official stated.

The association has completed all preparations for setting up the offline ticket counter outside the stadium to ensure cricket fans face no difficulties in purchasing tickets.

Stadium closed for public from today

In a significant development, the Dharamsala Cricket Stadium has been closed to general public and tourists from Wednesday as match preparations intensify. Entry has been restricted for all visitors, and the stadium will only reopen for the public after the match concludes on December 14.

HPCA Secretary Avanish Parmar said the decision was taken to facilitate smooth match preparations and ensure there are no disruptions. “Due to match preparations, the stadium has been closed to the general public so that there are no problems,” Parmar explained.

The picturesque Dharamsala stadium, set against the backdrop of the Dhauladhar mountain range, is a popular tourist attraction and usually remains open for visitors who come to admire the venue even when matches are not being played.
